求解未来三年至少还有一年上涨的概率是否可以想成排出三年来一次都不上涨的概率,即1-0.7*0.7*0.7。但是这种思路算出来的结果与标准答案大相径庭,错误之处在哪里呢?

同学你好,

这个思路方向可以,但少考虑了一种情况。

“the probability that the stock will rise more than 1 time in the next 3 years”的反面是三年一次都没上涨,和三年只上涨一次

即,P(X≤1)有P(X=0)和P(X=1)两种情况:

P(0)=0.7×0.7×0.7=0.343 三年都没有rise,这是你考虑到的情况。

P(1)=3C2×30%×70%×70%=0.441

最后 1-P(X≤1)=1-0.343-0.441=0.216
