老师，单纯问一下翻译，the pv of year 5, 不是第五年的现值吗。我的理解是第五年现值是50000，再求20年现值。这样理解错在哪里。 ps 已经看了其他解答，知道题干意思了，主要是从英语来看不知道自己这样理解错在了哪里。

 the present value (PV)of 50,000, as of the end of Year 5 (PV5 ), of the cash flow received at the end of Year 20 这句话的意思是在第20年末收到的5w，折现到第五年末，现值是多少钱。所以用于折现的年限是15年

两个逗号之间的“as of the end of Year 5 (PV5 )”是插入语，这句话本身说的就别扭，并不是常规的问法，不用太在意，读几遍通顺了就可以了。
