请问老师，frequency是50，50/2=25th, 这不就是中位数吗？ 为什么还要计算(50+2)/2=26th？ (50+2)/2 代表什么呢？

同学你好，
举个栗子，假设现在有5个数，那么中位数很简单，就是第三个。但是如果现在有四个数，那么中位数就无法说是第二个还是第三个了。这个时候就只能第三个数和第四个数取个平均值。偶数算中位数都会有这个问题。
所以这道题其实就是50是偶数，中位数就只能取第25和26个数，然后个平均。50+2 /2其实就是取第26个数的意思，但我们一般不会这么算，都是直接25+1就行了。加油~

但是根据LY=(n+1)/100 不是应该是（50+1）*50/100=25.5直接得出应该是第25和26之间那个吧。然后用第25和第26两个数取平均得出中位数。 （50+2）/2没看明白。

如果考试的时候明确的说是要计算中位数而非二分位数，则直接应用中位数的思路即可，不需要考虑分位点的公式（这道题也无法使用分位点的公式和线性插值）。中位数思路如下：
In an odd numbered sample of n items, the median occupies the (n + 1)/2 position. In an even-numbered sample, we define the median as the mean of the values of items occupying the n/2 and (n + 2)/2 positions (the two middle items).
（50+2）/2指的是第26个数的意思
