同学理解正确。

purchase on margin的意思是融资买入。

同学注意，这里的融资买入，仅仅指，向券商融资，也就是保证金交易。

margin是保证金的意思。只有向券商融资，才有保证金这个概念。

如果是向银行融资，例如从信用卡里借钱出来买股票买基金，这不属于purchase on margin。
