同学你好，

根据“random varible is greater than three standard deviations excess the mean”所得到的结果是P(z＞3）。

但标准正态分布表可以查到的结果是P(z＜3），即N(3)，也可以用F(3)表示。所以需要做转化。


根据公式，

P(z＞3）=1-P(z＜3）=1-F(3)，查表得到F(3)=0.9987

所以，P(z＞3）=1 - 0.9987
