month=(1+6.96%/12)12次方-1=7.2%

同学你好，

6.96%是EAR的概念，EAR不能再除以计息频率，需要通过除以计息频率做调整的是stated annual rate。

所以你的两个步骤修正如下：

month的情况：(1+7%/12)12次方-1=7.23%

quarte的情况：(1+6.79%/4)4次方-1=6.96%

可以看出来quarte的情况算出来的EAR正好和题干中“$25,000 to $35,000 in 5 years”得到的EAR一样。所以选择C选项。
