同学你好，common size analysis是I/S表的各项都除以revenue，B/S表的各项都除以Asset的一种方法，它可以用作time-series analysis（看一家公司随着时间的推移各个财务指标如何变化）也可以用作cross-sectional analysis（看同一个时间内，不同公司，剔除了规模本身的影响以后的公司之间表现好坏的比较）

而题目的意思是必须在同一时期比较不同公司的方法，那就是特指的cross sectional analysis
